Di-Di has finally made the website!

After an almost 2 week delay, we were finally able to get Amy's sister Di to pose for a picture with the boys. Now stop harassing me! (j.k.) In Di's defense, the delay was my fault because I did forgot the camera a couple times.

Here's a pic of our niece Mindy holding Owen and Di holding her Godson, Luke.

Here are the boys all dressed up and ready to go out on the town.

This pic of OX and Luke was taken by Amy Smith at the shower on Sunday. A special thanks to Amy for the great pics she gave us over the weekend. The black and white pic is fantastic!

Luke & Owen Meet More Relatives...

Today Amy's sisters gave her a baby shower. Luke and Owen were there for the meet and greet.

Here's Luke with his cousins Ashley (I think that's her name -j.k), Mandy & Sarah.

Here's a pic of Owen with Amy's cousin Carole and Carole's daughter, Bridget.

This is Luke catching up with Amy's cousin Joy. They met earlier this week at Walmart.

Bath Time in the Country...

Well, the boys are now getting an occasional sponge bath and as you can tell by the pics, Owen doesn't seem to mind at all. Luke on the other hand...

Owen (our little Buddha baby!)

Luke (he actually doesn't mind baths that much)

Finally, More Pics...

Sorry for the long delay, but things have been quite busy as of late and I have not had the opportunity to update the site. Luke and Owen have been making the rounds in PA, meeting all their relatives.

Here's Luke with Aunt Susie. (No Di, I did not post this picture to make you jealous. I promise I will not forget my camera the next time I am in your 'hood.)

Luke & Owen got to spend some time with their Aunt Kak's (Amy's sister's) 8 grandchildren.

Another pic of Owen with 2nd cousins Bubba, Samantha & Aubrey.

Here's are 3 of Amy's sister Mary Pat's grandchildren (Courtney, Brandon & 6 month old Ashton) with our nephew Danny.

Our great-nephew Brandon with Luke.

And least, but not last...a picture of Luke and his aunt Maggie (Yeah, Yeah I know, it's about time I posted a pic of Maggie.)

The Latest Addition to the Ham (Poley) Clan...

Owen & Luke's reign as the youngest grandchildren in the Poley litter has come to an end after only 8 days with the arrival of Amanda Katherine Ham. Amanda was born on Saturday, 8/14 at 5 p.m. in Long Island, NY. Mother Shannon and baby Amanda are doing great.

Isn't Amanda just precious?

Here's a pic of the Ham clan: Thomas, Amanda and Christopher.

The Babies New Room

We finally got the baby furniture delivered and boy was it tough to get the dresser up 3 flights of stairs. Many thanks to brother Bill for his help. Gramp West and I put the crib together and Gram West put the finishing touches on the room. Amy and the babies are doing fine. Amy is on the road to recovery and she is feeling better every day. A special thanks to our niece Missy for the fully decked out baby bear decor. It looks really great!

The furniture was a snap to put together (especially with Gramp West around).

Here's the babies' room.

Here's Luke and Owen chillin' in their new crib.

Our First Night at Home...

Here are a couple of pics depicting our first night and morning at home with our little bundles of joy. It was Gram West's idea to take these pics. It looks a lot worse than it was. To date, the boys are relatively quiet and well behaved. Stay tuned...

Before - Monday evening, 11:30 p.m.

Home Sweet Home

After 4 1/2 days, Amy, Luke and Owen have finally been released from the hospital and are home. Mommy & babies are resting well. Below are a few of the latest pics.

Here's Owen snuggling with his little brother Luke (Owen's one minute older and about a pound bigger).

Here are the kids all bundled up and ready to go. You would think by this picture it was cold outside, but it was actually around 85 degrees.

After a quick tour of their new apartment, the babies decided to do what they do best...get a quick bite to eat and take another nap. And they made it home just in time for the first Monday Night Football game of the year!

Babies meet Gram & Gramps...

Yesterday, the babies met Nanna & Pap Pap Poley (pictures coming soon) & today they met Gram & Gramps West who said, "They are perfect!" I have also added 2 close-up pics of Owen & Luke. Mommy and babies are resting and doing fine. We will be bringing them all home real soon.

Here are more pics of our 2 sons, Owen Xavier & Luke Ronald...

Here's a picture of Amy, babies Owen & Luke and Dr. Saltzman, the world's greatest doctor! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable & an expert on diabetes care & pregnancy; he is also very personable and he has a great sense of humor. His guidance during the last 9 months has been invaluable and he was always there for us, whether it be kind, supportive encouragement or a smile and a pat on the back. Thanks for everything Dr. Saltzman!!!

Here's a picture of Sean and his Godson Christopher holding baby Luke (I think that's Luke, or is it Owen?). Its quite obvious Chris was very excited to meet his new cousins.

Here's Uncle Bill with his daughter Tsubomi and babies Luke and Owen.

It took a little over 24 hours, but I finally got the opportunity to change one of my son's diapers. And as you might notice, Owen is a bit camera shy. This is just the first of many, many, many diapers I will change and I am looking forward to it (Well, let's see if I still feel this way after diaper 251!).

How I'm Getting to the Hospital...

Amy can't decide her mode of transportation to the hospital when she delivers. She has narrowed it down to either the subway or this horse drawn ambulance, circa 1898. Now we just have to find a horse!

It Just Won't Stop Bleeding!

Amy found out the hard way that pregnancy makes you more vascular. She scratched her leg yesterday, and it bled for 24 straight hours. It turns out she broke a blood vessel. No need to worry, our doctor took a look and got it to finally stop bleeding. At least she said it didn't hurt, that is until they burned it shut with a match stick.

What 'chu Talkin' 'bout Amy!?!

Here's a pic of Amy, babies A & B & Nyesha. Amy's still hanging in there and the babies are as well. We are off to see the doctor again tomorrow, which marks week 37...full-term.
