When it Rains, it Pours...

In an effort to make up for lost time, we figured we'd post more pictures again today.

Owen has discovered balls this week. Here he is rolling one at Sean's company picnic.

And here's Luke catching bubbles.

Ride 'em cowboys. There were a lot of fun activities for kids at the picnic.

Here, there and back again

I know it has been a while since anything new has been posted. We were a little busy. Drove to Erie, had some fun, and now we're back.

The weekend started with a "dressy" affair for cousin Erin.

Then on Sunday, the boys got the spend some quality country time with the family. Here's the boys "chillaxing" with Aunt Di Di. (Note the brewsky, standard drink at the country).

A small sampling of the boys' many many cousins (Becca and Courtney, outside the pen; and Ashton inside with the boys).

Owen and Gram spent some time on the swingset.

And here's Courtney giving Luke a push.

Outward Bound!

Here are some new pictures, finally.

Wagon train!

Followed by a dip in the neighbors' pool.

And Luke finally stood up in his crib! Isn't he a cute little bugger.

Happy Haircuts!

After numerous comments from well-meaning locals, "oh, do you have a boy and a girl?", we trimmed Luke's hair a few weeks ago.

He wasn't too excited to get a mommy-cut.

We even trimmed Owen's two errant hairs.

But faster than weeds, it does grow...so just after turning 11 months old, we took Luke in for his 1st "real" haircut. It started off OK.

But then out came the clippers.

And the session ended with a few tears.

But we're happy to report that we now have two happy little BOYS! (This shot actually pre-dates the haircut, but what the heck.)

The Boys First 4th of July

It has been a while since we posted any new pics, but we now have a bunch of new ones to share. This weekend the boys were really busy.

We started our 4th of July celebration Sunday afternoon at the parade in uptown Oxford.

Afterwards we chilled at the local park...

and ate watermelon.

The boys' cousin Mindy & her boyfriend Ron visited over the weekend and a good time was had by all.

Luke was raring to go on the 4th at the "Baby Olympics."

Owen was also psyched to play with all the other kids.

After the "Baby Olympics", we went for a train ride...

followed by the boys' first snowcones...

then they went for a dip in the local swimming pool. It was their first time in a pool.

It is safe to say the boys had a great 4th of July weekend!
