Happy Birthday Tommy!

The boys had a blast celebrating Tommy's Big day.

Here's the boys sporting Tommy's presents.

And the boys helped Tommy blow out the 24 candles.

Chef-Owen wanted to whip up something special for Tommy.

Here we go Steelers

The annual pilgrimage to Pittsburgh took place this past weekend, the boys decided to go along to play with their PA and NY relatives and friends. And play they did, lots of food and fun and very little sleep.

They played hard at Aunt Mar's house with all the usual suspects.

They were thrilled by Katelynn's flips.

And chilled with Jenn.

And chanted Steeler cheers with PapPap.

And they practiced their piano with Abby. Whew, what a weekend.

Leftovers from Thanksgiving.

Pictures, not food. Here are a few more shots of our visit with Gram and Gramp.

No visit from Gram would be complete without a quick double-bath in the sink.

The boys had a blast with Grampa.

And, of course, with Gram.

The weather has been pretty nice so we've spent most mornings outside. (A not so subtle attempt to wear the boys out for nap-time.)

But despite our best efforts, they usually have their own plans. Today I found them having a romping good time in Luke's cribby during nap-time. Owen's expert climbing abilities seem to mean the end of most routine naps around here.

Happy Turkey Day!

We were thrilled to be able to host the first Thanksgiving in our new house.

Chef Sean started cooking the night before.

Not to be out-done, the boys jumped in on the action to bake Grandma some cookies.

A delicious feast was had by all!

Even though Tommy wasn't here to join us, he had to get in on the cooking action, too. Here he is baking the boys some cookies (really they were for Cari, but the boys snuck a few.) Everyone probably wishes that Tommy would move in with them. We woke the other morning to find he had folded two loads of laundry. Boy, Di-Di must really miss him.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

A little late, (technical difficulties) but here it is.

Owen, Tommy and Luke want to wish Grandpa a very happy birthday!

Happy Halloween!

Here are some Halloween pics. As you can imagine, the boys had a blast this year. They couldn't believe they got to dress up, roar and get candy. What fun! You can check out their halloween fun below and per Mindy's request, we've even included a few pics of the house.

The season began with the ritual placing of the pumpkins on the porch.

Cousin Tommy and his main squeeze Kari helped the boys carve some really cute pumpkins. As you can see, the weather was a little cold that day.

And in keeping with tradition, the boys went trick or treating at Daddy's work. It looks like Owen has a sugar headache at this point.

Here Owen sports his Halloween shirt, from Missy, of course, as he hugs our swanky new pillows made by Gram.

Here's the crew before the neighborhood trick or treat. Tommy, dressed as a scarecrow, manned the house, while witch for the day, mommy, and photographer daddy took the Lion and Tiger 'round the 'hood. They raked in so much candy, we had to send some home to grandma :)

NOW for some long-awaited pics of the house. Thanks to hosting a playgroup this week, it was finally clean enough to take a few pics. This is the kitchen as seen from the "great-room".

This is another shot of the kitchen, Sean's playroom.

This is part of the "great-room" with a tiny Owen peaking in the left corner from the "dining room".

Here's the fireplace in the "great-room".

The master bath. Tough to take a good pic of the bathroom. Look closely-where is Di Di.

Our bedroom, without much furniture. But that's a story for another blog.

The Oxford Barbershop...

Our boys were in desperate need of haircuts, so daddy finally found time to give them a buzz.

Owen loves his new doo.

Luke did a great job keeping the barbershop's floor clean.

Then it was time for Luke's haircut. He is not a big fan of the clippers.

After all was said and done, the boys were eager to model their new look.

It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

The boys had a blast picking their own pumpkins this weekend.

It invloved a thorough inspection of each pumpkin.

Checking out the roots.

Posing in the sunny pumpkin patch.

And they finally selecting a winner.

Finally a couple of close-ups of our little pumpkins!

What a smile!

Tommy has arrived!

The boys were thrilled to welcome cousin Tommy into the fold last week. They've all had a blast just "chillin."

They've really been "helping" him with his homework.

And taking breaks to play with the "di-di", aka firetruck.

Soon enough they're off to fight another fire. Aren't they cute sharing a ride?

We start 'em young

Here are a few misc pics from our recent trip.

Three generations strong. Daddy and PapPap posing with their boys.

It's fall and the boys went grape pickin'.

No trip to grape country would be complete without tasting a little wine. Here the little buggers toast to eachother's health. We like to start 'em young.

The wonderous grape picking and sparking grape juice was all courtesy of Mazza Vineyards in North East, PA.

And of course, the boys had to stop off at the LPFD to inspect the fire trucks Rrrrr...

The Boys Go On A Road Trip...

The boys visited Nanna & PapPap in upstate New York and they had a great time.

Then they visited Grams & Gramps in Erie, PA. The boys just loved picking (& eating) berries.

They then celebrated their birthday again...

and birthdays mean ICE CREAM CAKE!!!

Their Aunt Di & Uncle Tom gave the boys their first fire truck. They just love it.

The boys also visted the Waterford Fair and had their first corn dog.

Nothin' beats a hotdog on a stick!

There were also plenty of animals on hand. Here Owen's licking his chops, "Mmmmm, pork chops!"

Owen even had time to go four-wheelin' with his cousin Joey.
