My Greek Sons...

Today we went to the Greek Independence Day parade and the boys had a blast celebrating their Greek heritage.

Here they are with their dad and their Greek flag.

The begining of the parade began like most parades, with NY's Finest.

After watching the parade, we headed over to Central Park and had a picnic with the boys' Uncle Bill, Aunt Rika and cousins Tsubomi and Moe. We even found time to head over to the Merry-Go-Round (aka the Central Park Carousel).

Mom and Luke really enjoyed the ride.

Owen just woke up before this pic was taken, but we think he enjoyed his ride.

On Saturday, we went out to Long Island to see our nephew (& Sean's Godson) Chris play football. He's only in kindergarten, but he plays in a league with 2nd graders because there aren't enough kids his age to form a league.

Chris normally plays center and here he is "snapping" the ball to the QB.

Chris did such a good job playing center that they put him in at quarterback for a play. In this pic, Chris is receiving the handoff from the center.
