Gearing up for the Holidays

The boys have enjoyed getting ready for Christmas, and we are pleased to report that the shopping is done, the tree is decorated and the cookies are baked. (Alright, so we didn't bake any cookies. You try keeping two curious 16 month olds away from a hot oven. Anyway, our intentions were good.)

Owen practices for his big role in the first annual West Poley Christmas play. Not long out of the manger himself, he decided to forego the traditional gold, frankincense and myrrh and brought goldfish crackers instead.

Sporting a vintage "Ron West Auto" cap, Luke decided to practice for the Christmas festivities by kicking back with a good stiff drink.

How cute..Owen makes a really cute shepard and Gramp was really pleased to seeing Luke sporting his "vintage" cap. Maybe he will go into auto repair like his grampa. Can't wait to see them in person in a couple of weeks. Hope the darn snow subsides by then. Love, Gram

Gram you always come in first with the comments. How do you do it? I hope that you guys enjoy your holidays. I am planning to come up for Christmas this year if I can make it up there. Who knows with all of the snow Erie has been getting.

I need one of those caps - Paris Hilton will be asking for one next!!! Anybody know if i can find one on ebay?

We almost stopped at Casa West thisweekend as we drove through the blinding snowstorm on i-90 (on our way home from Brian's WV grad and my parents left 2 hours after us so we couldn't go home).

Can't wait to see the boys over the holidays!
