The boys put on their Steeler uniforms today to cheer on their favorite football team. The Steelers beat the hapless Redskins this week and now they're 10-1 and hopefully Super Bowl bound! The Redskins just happen to be the boys' Uncle John's favorite team.
Hey Uncle John, don't you think the Redskins coach Joe Gibbs should have stuck with NASCAR!?!

Happy Turkey Day!
Our boys spent their first Thanksgiving with some of their family at their Aunt Shannon's house. After watching the conclusion of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on TV (& seeing Santa for the first time!), our boys found time to get their hands on some turkey.
Luke had no problem gumming his first drumstick.
Owen pondered which was the most efficient way to gobble down some bird.

Our Little Advocates...
The boys recently paid a visit to the JPAC for Older Adults citywide meeting. This was their first foray into social action.
Here Amy and the JPAC staff pose with Owen & Luke.
Here the boys are posing with their Health Care for All pins. With the miserable state of our health care system and with costs soaring through the roof, I can totally understand Luke's response.

Take Me Out ...
Here's a pic of the boys in their baseball uniforms. There is only 4 months until the start of spring training and Lord knows the Mets need all the help they can get.
Let's Go Mets!

The Boys' First Subway Ride & Marathon...
This weekend was another busy weekend for the boys.
OX & Mom were first through the turnstile.
That's Luke & Dad (really, Luke is in there somewhere) getting ready to hop on the 7 Train.
The boys got to cheer on the runners of the New York City Marathon which happens to run right through our neighborhood.
OX really had a great time rooting everyone on. He can't wait to cheer on Mom in 5 years.
One of the highlights of the marathon is cheering on the Achilles runners. They are truly inspirational. For more information on the Achilles Track club, you can visit them at: www.achillestrackclub.org.

Happy Birthday Grandpa!
The boys found the markers and made this sign for their Grandpa West.
In honor of Grandpa's birthday, we post this picture of Luke Ronald sleeping in the same crib that his Grandpa slept in when he was a little tyke - 74 years ago.

Vote Aqui
This has been a very busy week for the boys. Over the weekend our boys celebrated their first Halloween and today was their first Election Day. They made sure daddy & mommy got to the polls before they closed on Election night.
Here's Amy & Owen after Amy (or Owen?) casted her vote.
Luke helped me figure out how to use the 40 year old voting machines.
