Christmas is in the air!
Here we are decked out in our Christmas gear.
No season would be complete without a visit to Santa. When we asked Luke where Santa lives, he said "at the mall." The boys' list this year consisted of a violin and a cello. Hmm, don't know if Santa makes those....
We recently hosted a fun party for our babysitting co-op. The boys had a blast.
Just in time for Christmas, we got some snow this week. And Luke and Owen have enjoyed every minute of it.
They have also been participating in some other winter sports. Here's Owen showing off his skating prowess.
Not to be out-done, Luke can also hold his own on skates.
Best wishes to everyone for a great Christmas and happy 2008!

Happy Thanksgiving 2007
We had a great Thanksgiving holiday in Oxford, Ohio.
Sean decided to smoke the turkey on the grill.
It turned out very well. Special thanks to our
friends Angie & Tom for the tips!
We had plenty of food and wine (& sparkling
pear juice) for everyone.
Here Owen is showing off his bounty that
was left for him by the Tooth Fairy (the
lost tooth was the result of a battle with the
toy box...Owen lost.).
The boys also ran their second race recently
and they were awarded another medal. I
think it is safe to say that the boys have
already garnered more hardware then their
father!

Happy (Belated) Birthday Mommy!
We had a good time celebrating mommy's birthday this year.
Here the boys are posing with mommy in front of her birthdaycake bowl of ice cream.
Of course the boys helped mom blow out the candles.
Here are some older pics we haven't had a chance to post...
If you look very, very closely, you can see the carrots the boys picked from our garden. They were small, but very tasty.
Recently, the boys had an impromptu jam session with our friend Steve. Special thanks to Steve for tuning the boys' guitars!
Our friend Beth came for a visit last month and took in a hockey game with the boys.

Happy Halloween!
Wow, what fun it was this year. The boys had a blast and oh boy, did they score a lot of candy.
Howdie Partner. Here the two best partners strike a pose after the uptown Halloween carnival.
They marched in the Halloween parade later that evening. Here they are marching with their best girl friend, Katie.
Later in the week, they stopped by Daddy's work to Trick or Treat.
And finally they head out to hit the streets of Oxford for some good ol' trick or treating. You should see the loot they brought back. They would make Gramma proud.

It's been a while...
As usual, it has been so long since we posted any pictures. We've been to Pittsburgh and back and had lots of fun in between.
Here are the boys, sporting their German hats, with their beautiful-bride cousin, Jennifer. What a cute three-some.
The Little Rascals were in town for the wedding.
What a couple, Owen and Aunt Susie. Aunt Sue finally makes the website-don't be jelly, Di-Di.
The boys with two of their favorite big-boys.
And engaged in typical "boy" fun, wrestling.
A final one of mom and dad with all their girls.

Hodge Podge of Pics
We've been busy, which is why it has been so long since we posted anything. Here are some highlights.
The boys enjoyed a fun visit with our kindergarten-teacher friend Levonda. She has a way with kids.
They especially enjoyed a visit to the beach.
Then it was off for a fun-filled vacation. First stop, the Great Wolf Lodge.
It was fun for the whole family!
We then headed over to Erie to celebrate birthday #3. Poor Ashton only wanted to help :)
Owen didn't need any additional hot air.
Here's the birthday boys in their new German caps. Don't they look cute. Thanks Aunt Di and Uncle Tom!
Two of their favorite presents were matching mics hand-made by gram and gramp. Here's Luke testing his out.
He goes on to give a little vocal test of the mic, with Owen backing him up on Nate's drum set. (Better Missy than us.)
Here's some of the kids at the big birthday bash.
Luke really flipped. He had so much fun.
The boys even made time to hit the track during their vacation.
Daddy and Di Di had a good night at the track.
The boys joined us for a celebratory drink.
And no visit would be complete without a visit to Di Di's firehouse.

Visitors from New York City...
Uncle Bill, Aunt Rika and cousins Tsubomi and Moe came to Oxford last weekend for a visit and a good time was had by all.
The cousins spent a lot of time in the backyard playing in the sandbox and on the swing set.
The was usually some kind of musical concert in the evenings.
Here's the Poleys posing at the lake.
The kids enjoyed playing on the beach and in the water.
Moe also had a blast playing at the beach.
Even if you can't tell by this pic, Owen enjoyed swimming in the water.
The cousins also spent some time playing at the Uptown park. Here they're riding a ram.
Tsubomi and Luke could not wait to run through the fountain.
And of course, Owen was not far behind.
Tsubomi (& the rest of the gang) were all pretty pooped at the end of each day.
Here the gang is posing with their new Finneytown basketball shirts (Go Wildcats!), courtesy of Uncle Bill's friend Craig. Thanks Craig!
