It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...
Luke, Rory & Owen paid a visit to Santa. The jury is still out as to whether or not the Santa is paying a visit to our house.
Here's Rory helping her mom put some ornaments on our Christmas tree.
The boys actually did most of the tree trimming. They had a blast!
We all went to the Oxford Holiday Festival and here is the gang snuggling up on the carriage ride. It was quite chilly that night.
We would like to wish everyone a very happy and healthy holiday!

Winter Wonderland?
We recently had our first "big" snowfall of the year -- about an inch -- and the boys took full advantage of it.
Luke and Owen and their friends Kullen & Makenna made the most of it.
Here's Luke & Makenna trekking up our front yard.
I think the highlight for them was seeing who could be the first to hit the red fire hydrant.

Thanksgiving 2008
There's nothing like Thanksgiving pics in December. Regardless, we had a very nice Thanksgiving here in Oxford, Ohio with our friends, the Moores.
Owen & Luke spent most of the afternoon playing super heroes with their friends Shr-Hua and Shr-Shiang.
Here's Rory hanging out with her friend Sri-Lin watching football.
Of course, there was turkey and Rory loved every bite!

Grams & Gramps Come to Oxford
Grams and gramps recently came to town to celebrate Amy's birthday.
We surprised grandpa with a birthday pie for his birthday. Check out the fancy candles!
This is pretty much what grandma did the whole time she was here. In this pic, Rory is modeling a dress from Amy's friend Katie.
Grandma, in the same chair, but with different kids.
The boys also snuggled up with gramps.
Here Owen's chilling with grandpa.
Rory liked to take an occasional nap with her gramps.

State To State 2008
The boys recently participated in the annual State To State run held here in Oxford, Ohio.
Here's Luke with his game face on.
I'm not sure if this is Owen's game face or if he is just wondering when does he get the Gatorade?
And they're off...I can see Owen, but where's Luke?
After the race, we all had a good time downing Gatorade and eating granola bars and apples.

Election Day 2008
Yesterday, Rory and the boys paid a visit to the election polling site. While this was Rory's first time, the boys are getting pretty used to it by now. As you can see by the stickers they are sporting, they were able to successfully navigate the electronic voting process in order to cast their votes.
We Are...Penn State
Here's Rory modeling her first Penn State shirt from Tommy & Cari.
As you can see, she is getting bigger!

Happy Halloween 2008...
The festivities started on Wednesday as the boys and Rory (sporting a mohawk?) stopped by dad's work for some trick-or- treating.
On Thursday, we all headed uptown for the annual Halloween parade. Here's Rory & mom getting ready to stroll down High St.
Here's our friend Angie and her son Luke, posing with Amy & Rory. (Special note of thanks to Angie for the pics.)
Aren't these cute pumpkins?
Here's Luke & Owen with their friends Katie and Shea. There was a costume contest and the boys won a couple of free pizzas.
Rory was just perfect during the parade and she was pretty beat afterwards.
Here's the gang before they went trick-or-treating on Friday. Rory looks like she was eating a bit too much candy.

Field Trip to the Fire House...
The boys pre-school class recently went on a field trip to the Oxford Fire Department.
The boys, sporting their Lawrence Park Fire Department shirts, were loving every minute of the trip.
Owen could not resist touring the fire truck...
while Luke preferred to check out a rescue vehicle.
Owen also volunteered to test the firefighter's steel-toed boots.

Tommy & Cari Come to Oxford...
Cousin Tommy and soon to be cousin-in-law Cari paid us a visit for the annual pumpkin carving extravaganza.
Here's everyone posing on a beautiful autumn day.
The gang did a great job (& had a blast) carving the pumpkins.
After the pumpkin carving, there was time for some football.
Rory played so well, she got the game ball!
Here's a recent close-up of Rory flashing one of her many grins.

Rory Pays a Visit to the Baby Doctor...
Here's Amy and Rory with Dr. Evans and nurse Nancy. These are the folks who provided Amy with great care throughout her pregnancy.
Amy was very grateful to nurse Yvonne for all her help during her pregnancy.
Amy found a great new spot for Rory to chill. She loves hangin' in the laundry basket.
Our friend Jennifer recently came over for dinner. After dinner she read the boys their bedtime stories.
