Memorial Day 2008

We had a very busy Memorial Day weekend.

On Saturday, we went to the Miami Surplus Auction looking for some shelving for the garage, but we came home with a bunch of sporting goods for the boys. They absolutely loved their tumbling mats, hockey helmet, goalie mask and the steal of the day...a whole mess of hockey pads for $1.

Here's Vanna, oops, I mean Amy, with the new "Mommy-mobile."

The weather was just perfect for a game of T-ball...

and a quick splash in the pool.

Some pics from our friend Beth's visit last month...

Beth had a great time hanging with the boys.

Happy Mother's Day (2008)

This past weekend we had a great time hanging with mom during her special day.

The boys "surprised" mom with breakfast in bed (which was actually eaten in the kitchen since Amy does not allow food in the bedroom).

Since it was her day, Amy was allowed to lick the beaters for change!

The boys also spent some time doing crafts with mom. Owen took his time creating his masterpiece...

while Luke decided to do some impromptu finger painting.

The boys do clean-up really well!

Happy B-day Daddy!

We all had a blast celebrating Sean's birthday on Sunday.

The boys had fun making daddy's favorite...

Ice cream cake!

We then headed out for a fun-filled day for all the boys at a local in-door sports center.

Here's Daddy taking a few swings in the batting cages.

Owen scored big in skee-ball.

Luke also had a great time pitching those hard balls.

But the highlight for all three was air-hockey. Luke pretended to be the Miami Hockey goalie, of course.

After our afternoon of fun, we headed over to a seafood restaurant. Here are the boys enjoying some oysters, like father like sons. (They only pretended to eat these. Sean polished off the full dozen all by himself.)

They finished the day by blowing out the candles and digging into the cake. Happy birthday Sean!
