More Pics from Erie...
No trip to Erie is complete without a trip to the Lawrence Park Fire Department. The boys (& now Rory) just love it when Aunt Di Di shows them the ropes.
Of course, they just love wearing Aunt Di Di's helmet...
and the badges and the LPFD tattoos. Matter of fact, Owen is still sporting his tattoo...it just won't wash off! I'm beginning to think it is permanent.
The boys also got to hang with their favorite hockey playing cousins, Nathan, Jamie (Bubba) and Tyler.
Here's Amy and Rory at Cari's wedding shower.
Rory got to play a bit with her cousin Morgan.
While Amy & Rory were at the shower, grandpa stayed home with the boys. Owen just loved four-wheeling with grandpa through the woods.
This was Rory's favorite spot in Erie!

Easter 2009, Part 1
Here's the gang getting ready to color Easter eggs at their grandparents house.
Rory supervised the activity.
And the boys seemed to really like blue.
The Easter bunny came to the gangs grandparent's house a little early this year (on Easter Tuesday?) and Rory did not have to hunt for her Easter basket.
But the boys did. Owen found his basket in one of grandma's cupboards.
Luke's basket was left in the oven.
They all could not wait to dig into all that Easter loot.

Curling, Anyone?
I recently had the chance to try my hand at curling. I would have made Bill & Rika proud. Here's a pic of my first first throw - almost on the button! (Note to Maggie - Hey Mags, I'm not sure if you remember our discussion some years ago, but I have to tell you curling looks a lot easier than it is. Sweeping is rough. I'm not sure you could be an Olympic curler.)
Here's a recent pic of Rory that I absolutely adore.

Dad's "Wingmen"
After skating, I always ask the boys where they want to go for lunch and their choice is unanimous, "Let's go to Buffalo Wild Wings!" Much to my surprise, Owen usually eats between 6-8 wings, plus fries.
Even though you can't really tell from this picture, I think Luke's favorite part of this meal is the celery. Just Look at the all that blue cheese dressing in front of him -- he always makes sure he finishes every last drop.
Do you think Owen is enjoying his lunch?
Luke likes "medium" wings. He loves the heat.

The Boys Hit the Ice
The boys just finished their Saturday morning ice skating lesson. Owen really got the hang of it and by the end the lessons, he was was skating like a little pro.
Luke always practiced with great abandon and he can even skate backwards.
It looks like both Owen & Luke are ready to play hockey in the fall with the Jr. RedHawks. Stay tuned...
