Here are the boys with one of their favorite players, and homeboy, Pat Canone. Pat is from Long Island, NY.
Luke's idol from last year's team (Ryan Jones) has since graduated and moved on to the NHL, so now his new favorite player is #22, Justin Vaive.
At 6 ft. 7 in., he can be quite the intimidator on the ice, but off the ice, he couldn't be any nicer to the boys. Luke always makes a point to say "hi" to him whenever he sees him and Amy says Justin makes a mean stir-fry.

.Luke must have been beside himself, meeting all the hockey players!!! I kind of feel I know them after a week with Luke and playing hockey with him and making signs, etc. Owen goes along with it. LOL Boy, that BIG hockey player sure is intimidating!!!! No wonder Miami has such a good record. Love, Gram and Gramp
David is jelly on the bread seeing these pictures...it is his new goal in life to be a hockey player. mayber when we come up next, Luke and Owen can help him perfect some of his moves.
