Luke and dad recently went down to Washington D.C. for the Frozen Four (college hockey's version of the Final Four).
Fortunately, our team earned their first ever trip to the Frozen Four this year!
Luke was lucky enough to get some ice time at the Verizon Center.
Here Luke and his cousin Tsubomi are getting ready to take a face-off at center ice.
While Miami might have lost in the finals, we had a great time. Here Luke takes a break from eating his pickle to show his allegiance - Love & Honor to Miami!
I wonder if cousin Mo-Mo will be heading to Miami University in about 15 years?
Of course, no trip to D.C. is complete without meeting the President...here's Luke with Miami University's President, David Hodge.

Well I just checked and lo and behold there were new pictures up. Looks like you guys had a great time in Washington. After looking at the picture of Luke way up in the top rows, no wonder we couldn't pick you out on television. It almost made me whoosy to look down. LOL Love, Gram
