Summer Vacation, Part 8 - LAST STOP, Jeffersonville, NY

Least, but not last, we paid a visit to see Nana and PapPap in upstate New York. We took in one of PapPap's favorite past-times, bowling. Look at that technique! No surprise, he wound up beating us all.


The boys' cousin Moe was quite the bowler!


Luke really enjoyed learning the tricks of the trade from PapPap.


We also played some put-put...


and we could tell how much the boys have benefited from the personal golf instruction they have been getting from our neighbor Sam.


Here we all pose at hole 18. PapPap showed no mercy and he really took it to us.


We also found time to play some wiffle ball at a local park. PapPap gave the boys some hitting tips.


There was also plenty of time for snuggling with PapPap...


and Nana.

Summer Vacation, Part 7 - Jellystone Park

We met up with Aunt Shannon's family at Jellystone Park. Rory just loved the pool.


Owen really liked jumping in the pool.


The boys got to hang out with their little cousin Grace...


and their cousin Amanda.


Uncle Bill and his gang joined us for the fun. Here we are swimming with the boys' cousins Chris, Tsubomi and Thomas.

We stayed for dinner and marshmallows with the Hams and their friend Max.


Nana piled all the kids on the bus for a quick spin around the park.

Summer Vacation, Part 6 - Putnam Lake, NY

After we left PA, we paid a visit to my brother's new home in Putnam Lake, NY. All the kids (Luke, Tsubomi, Owen & Moe) enjoyed soaking up the sun.


The boys and their cousin Moe played lots of ring around the rosy in the lake.

All the sun and sand took its toll on Rory. She was pooped!

Summer Vacation, Part 5 - Waldameer Park

We all went to Waldameer Park and had a great time.


Gram, Aunt Jean was there and the boys loved hangin' with her.


The roller coaster was a big hit...


and the boys had a blast riding in the first car.


I even got to ride a few rides with my boys.


The Frog Hopper remains Luke's favorite ride.


Thanks to Gram & Gramps for inviting us to their work's picnic, which was being held in a pavilion at the park. The grub was great!

Next stop, Jeffersonville, NY...

Summer Vacation, Part 4 - Boys' 5th Birthday @ the Racetrack

After lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, the boys went down to the racetrack to celebrate their birthday. Here they are hanging with their cousins Hunter, Keagan and Kylie


Amy and Rory were also on hand to join in the festivities.


Aunt Susie gave the boys some money and they placed their first bet in the 8th Race, a 70-1 long shot.


Low and behold the boys won! Well, actually their horse came in 3rd, but luckily I placed their bet to show (come in 3rd).


The boys celebrated their winning ticket with Aunt Susie.


Afterward, we went to gram & gramp's to eat more birthday cake.
