Frozen Four Here We Come!

Daddy and Luke were psyched to head to Minnesota for the Frozen Four.

Here's Luke skating on the official ice.

And posing in the penalty box.

Another shot of our NCAA star.

A giant highlight was watching Miami's own, Andy Miele win the Hobey Baker award.

A cute pic of our family's biggest hockey fans.

And a parting shot of Linus, Lucy and Luke :)

Looking Back...Starting With Our Most Recent Easter

Well, we've had quite a year and our posts have been intermittent at best. So here's our fist attempt to catch up. Easter was very meaningful this year. A symbol of rebirth for us all.

The kids started off their Easter weekend with a fun egg hunt at the park.

Here's the crew post-bath, doing some pre-Easter coloring of the eggs.

First lucky kid to find her basket in her shopping cart on Easter morning. She didn't waste any time diving in.

Second kid to find his basket. It took him a while to find his in the dryer, that tricky bunny.

Finally, the third kid finds his basket in his hockey bag. Boy, that bunny knows how to hide 'em.

All three with their post-find spoils.

Our cute crew after church.

The luckiest mom in the world (with lovely tulip antennae :)

The whole happy family at the homestead :)

Happy Valentine's Day 2011

For Valentine's Day, Amy made the family a red velvet cake.

The kids helped ice the cake.

Owen thought licking the spoon was quite tasty!

This was the first time Amy made a layer cake and it was awesome. We (O.K., mostly I) finished the cake in 2 days! Here's Luke giving his sign of approval.

3-2-1 Blastoff!

The kids were recently treated to their own personal NASA exhibition courtesy of our next door neighbor's sons. Luke & Owen were psyched that Sam and Matt made them both rockets of their own.

They even made Rory her own rocket!

The launch was serious business. Here Sam is setting up the launch camera (& the launch pad warning).

Rory was ready for the countdown.

The countdown, 10 - 9 - 8 ....

Here are the boys with their new friends, "rocket scientists," Sam and Matt. They even ran down the street to retrieve the rockets so the boys would have souvenirs. Everyone had a great time. A big thanks to Sam (Sr.) and Toni for hosting the exciting launch.

Jr. RedHawk of the Game

Yep, it has been a while. Life has been quite hectic, but we can't complain. We are truly blessed. We are going to try our best to update our site more frequently this year. Let's see how that goes...

First, we want to wish Grandpa all the best. He is the original superhero!

This past weekend, Luke was the Jr. RedHawk of the Game for the opening game of the Michigan vs. Miami series. Special thanks to Randy for capturing Luke's big moment!

Here's Luke taking the face-off against Chris Wideman. Luke's favorite player, Justin Vaive, dropped the puck. (Picture courtesy of Miami University Athletics)

Here's Luke from earlier this fall.

Luke's team, the Gators. Well, this is about half his team. The other half of the team did not make it to practice that day.

More pics coming real soon (probably on Saturday). Stay tuned...
